Final one for today

Well I'm here again for the last offering for today!  This card is for the Squiggles stamps challenge which had the theme of Autumn this month.  It is also for the Basic Grey Challenge which also has Autumn as it's theme this month. So here it is;

 This card uses the Autumn Girl stamp from Squiggles Stamps which is a really cute image.  I stamped her onto watercolour card and coloured her with Big 'n Juicy inks Foliage and Spice.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
 The papers are from Basic Grey's Pyrus range which I think are really autumnal.  They go really well with the Kraft crad that I have used as a base.
The leaves are stamped out onto a piece of card that I coloured with Big 'n Juicy Foliage with some cut 'n Dry foam.  I then cut them out and shaped them before arranging them on the card - I wanted to give the viewer the memories of kicking through the Autumn leaves as a child.
I'm not sure you can see very well in the photos but on the easel bar there is also a alittle row of trees which I made from shrink plastic and the Magnolia large tree row stamp.

Well I hope you like this card too - I just love Autumn colours - I think it is my favourite time of year!
Anyway I will see you soon hopefully with my Sheena inspired cards

Crafters Companion challenge

Back so soon!  This time I have a couple of cards to share which are for the Crafter's Companion Monthly challenge blog . They are based on a sketch designed by one of the design team.  I have done two which are variations on a theme as I couldn't make up my mind which Beatrix Potter Winter's tale stamp image I wanted to use !  So here they are;

Both images are stamped onto water colour card with Faded jeans distress ink and then watered in with a brush.  The flowers in the lower image are Prima flowers and the blooms in the top image along with the lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts .  The papers are from the Crafter's Companion CD Rom Beatrix Potter's A Winters Tale.  I just love these images and the lovely colours of all the papers on the CD - the only trouvle is there are so many to choose from.  I also love being able to print off a matching insert which finishes the cards off brilliantly.
Hope you enjoy these two cards

AT last

Well I've finally managed to get back here ;o)  I have been making one or two cards and thought I'd share them here.  The first one then is using a stamp from the amazing Sheena Douglass.  It is from the Bah Humbug plate and uses the tudor street image.  I really like this card all done in tones of brown.

I used walnut stain distress ink for the image which is on watercolour card so I could pull the colour out.  The whole image is sprayed with Crafter's Companion irridescent glitter spray.  The easel card has the holly image from the same stamp plate embossed with the 'WOW' clear Hologram powder also by Sheena.  The lace and flowers are from  Wild Orchid Crafts .  I hope yuo like this card as much as I do.  I also have the new Little Bit Sketchy series of stamps by Sheena which I am going to play with over the weekend so will post some piccies when I've done some cards.

Miss Miseltoe

Well here is another effort  -not brilliant but a great image all the same.  This card is for the Basic Grey Challenge  and for the Kenny K challenge .  So for Basic Grey it was bling and for Kenny K it was make it Christmas.  I have used a great Kenny K image along with Basic Grey jovial papers.  The greeting is a whimsy stamp.  I have coloured the image with Copic markers and used some distress ink around the edges.  The gems are from 'Say it in Crystals' and the poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts as usual LOL.
So here are a couple of pictures of said card ;o)

It looks like the fur trimmings of her outfit are pink but they aren't I think it is the glitter catching the light from the camera flash.  They are white and sparkly over here LOL.
Anyway I hope you like the card.
I have a couple of new stamps from Whimsy which are really lovely so hope to make something with those either today or tomorrow so will post piccies if they turn out ok.  I really need to be making lots of Christmas cards as friends of my mum and dad are having a Christmas sale and want cards to sell so I need to get a move on!
See you soon

Hello

Well I have actually managed to make a few cards - horay!! Only made basic Xmas cards so I won't picture them here but I have made a card for the Kenny K Challenge so here it is pictured below.

So I used a Kenny K digistamp - isn't she wicked LOL!  I used Hot off the Press paper along with flowers and lace from Wild Orchid Crafts who I could not craft without ;o)
I coloured the image with Copic skintones and pro markers for her outfit.
Hope you like her as much as I do

Back again

Still not making my Christmas cards and I really do need to start but I still feel pretty groggy.  I have got pictures though of the sling bag that I made.  I bought it as a ready to go kit from Hamble and Jemima who are a great company who sell these kits.  I received the pattern, the material and the buttons and the pop studs and just had to cut it all out then sew it all up.

There are poppers which mean you can have the handle longer or shorter depending on your mood ;o)
I've also been having a bit of a play with the Tim Holtz tattered florals Sissix dies and have made some flowers which aren't too bad for a first try.  Here are a couple for you to look at.

They both started out as white card but I sprayed the larger of the two with lilac and then toffee 'that special touch of' mica spray and the smaller one with silver and warm gold spray.
Well I promise that tomorrow I am going to make some cards no matter how I am feeling LOL.
