Craft US Crazy challenge continued...

Well yet again we're into the second week of our fortnightly challenge which is anything goes.  The sponsor for this second half is;

and a lucky winner will receive...

There are some great stamps o this amazing site.  I have used one to make this lovely Christmas card;

I just love this little polar bear ;o)  The image is coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol pens, the papers are from the Bo Bunny midnight Frost range (which I love but can't get anywhere now )  - the sentiment tag is also from this collection.  I distressed all the edges and used some faded jeans distress ink around the edges.  I backed the papers onto Core'dinations card.  Finally I added some white crinkle ribbon.  Hope you like it ;o)
(Sorry this post is so late - I got it into my head it was Wednesday so I'm running a day late LOL)

Anniversary card

Hello - yesterday was my wedding anniversary so I thought I'd share the card I made for my wonderful husband ;o)

The stamp is the cute 'Hugs for You' from the Humphrey's Corner range available here . The papers are from K & CO McKenna range and I have distressed them with a paper distresser and Brushed Corduroy distress ink.  The images are coloured with Spectrum Noir pens which I am loving so much.  There are a few 6 pen sets left here !  The buttons I made from chipboard and stuck on some paper then crackled and distressed with Crackle Accents - I added a little string too ;o)  The sentiment is an Anna Griffin one embossed in Gold WOW powder.  Finally the little charm is a Tim Holtz one from his Ideaology range.

I hope you like it (my hubby was chuffed so I'm pleased with it too ;o))

Back so soon ;o)

I'm back again LOL.  I also thought you might like to see a card made for my mum to give to her sister.  I have paint fusioned the picture;

So the card is all black and pink themed and I painted the flowers and the butterfly.  I was inspired by a pastel version Sheena had painted and I am really liking this.  I mad a couple of black and pink flowers too from a Marianne die and added a couple of pins.  I alos embossed around the edge of the picture with brass WOW powder.

A Magnolia card

Hello everyone.  I hope you're all ok and that the weather is nice with you - it's very muggy here so I'm feeling a bit hot and bothered LOL.  Anyway I thought I'd share the card I made for my mum to give to my brother's wife.

So all the stamped images are from Magnolia so the girl, the watering can, the trees and the stump.  The papers are K & Company Bailey collection which I have used for the backing and the paper piecing on the trees.  I also used Kraft card for matt and layering and for the words - daughter - in- law cut on my Cricut, (whih don't show up too well on the photo).  The 'ribbon' is cotton hemp tape and is just lovely.  The girl on the watering can is coloured in with distress inks.  The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley one gold embossed. I stitched all around the edge of the matts with my Brother machine in a leaf pattern.  I made the inside match using nestie shapes.
I hope you like this and I hope my sister-in-law likes it too ;o)

I have used a Kelley's Kids image for my card this week but I apologise now for the ropy photos.  The light wasn't very good so it doesn't look as nice as it does in the flesh ;o(
Anyway the images are great so here we are;

The digi stamp is Kate with Newt by Kelley's Kids and she is coloured with the new Spectrum Noir alcohol pens.  I am loving them but need lots more practice with them.  The papers are from Basic Grey's Olivia range.  Just love the pink and green combo.  The ribbon is some chalk white vintage ribbon and the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts.
